This page explains what information The Charter Fund collects through this platform, how it's used, and how it's stored. Formal legal and entity details are still being finalized and will be added here once confirmed.

What we collect

  • Account and profile information: your name, email, phone number, and business details (business name, type, industry, address, website, and similar fields you provide).
  • Application information: your business overview, the equipment you're requesting, and any photos you share as proof of work.
  • Verification documents: a government-issued photo ID and a passport photograph, plus supporting business evidence you upload to support your application, such as business registration, a physical storefront, a business profile or resume, or proof of address. These are stored privately and are never public.
  • Contact form submissions: the name, email, reason, and message you submit through our Contact page.

How we use it

  • To review and process your grant application, verify eligibility, and communicate updates on your application's status.
  • To fulfill approved grants, including ordering and shipping equipment.
  • To respond to messages sent through our Contact page.
  • If your business is selected as a success story, we may publish your business name, a quote, and photos you've shared with us on our Success Stories page.

How we store it

  • Your data is stored with Supabase (Postgres, authentication, and file storage), with row-level security restricting access to your own records, or to admin for review and fulfillment purposes.
  • Verification documents are kept in a private storage bucket, accessible only to you and admin.
  • Success story photos and grant images are stored in public buckets, since they're meant to display on this site.

Sharing

  • We don't sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to fulfill your equipment grant, for example with a shipping carrier, or as required by law.

Cookies

  • We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights

  • You can review most of your application information directly from your dashboard. To request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, reach out through our Contact page.

Age requirement

  • This platform isn't intended for anyone under 18. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Changes to this policy

  • If this policy changes, we'll update the date below. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
